San Antonio Regional

The San Antonio Regional meeting was a great success! The community college constituency was very well represented. Northeast Lakeview and Palo Alto College were the co-sponsors of the meeting. We had the pleasure of meeting in their brand new Cultural Arts Center. Also in attendance, San Antonio College, Northwest Vista College, Alamo Community Colleges, Houston Community College, Blinn College, Central Texas College, Texas A&M San Antonio, UT Health Science Center San Antonio, UT San Antonio, Trinity University, Texas Woman’s University and SMU.  read more »

Hartmann and Norwood elected as Exhibitor Advisors

Welcome aboard Michelle Hartmann and Rob Norwood! As confirmed by the Texas BUC$ audit committee, Michelle and Rob (2008 Platinum Exhibitor representatives) were elected by the 2008 annual conference attendees to serve as Exhibitor Advisors to the Texas BUC$ board. Michelle and Rob will promote the Texas BUC$ organization in the higher education industry and serve as advisors to the board regarding exhibitor relations. They will serve as members at-large, and will not have decision making or voting privileges.  read more »

Attention Attendees and Exhibitors:

The Board of Directors welcomes your proposals for conference sessions in 2009. Please consider sending a proposal to Kathy Woods via email at: kathy [at] texasbucs [dot] com. The proposals will be reviewed when the Board of Directors begins planning the agenda at their March business meeting.

The proposal should include a brief description of the session you would like to present. Please include a brief statement about how the subject matter might be helpful to student business representatives at their institutions.  read more »
