Our regional meetings and annual conference, provide an excellent opportunity to network with your colleagues and to visit with exhibitors to discover new approaches and solutions to issues common to student business services.

New Officers Elected and Winners

During the 2011 annual conference, Andy Startz of Texas A&M University-Health Science Center was the sole nominee for the office of Vice President and accepted the position unopposed. Kathy Woods of Texas Women's University was the sole nominee for the position of Treasurer and also accepted that position.  read more »

Singing in the Rain for the Cure

ICRA big thank you to everyone who got up this morning for the BUC$ for Cure. The tallies for monies collected will be available soon. A big thanks to ICR for their generous $500 donation.

Everson Walls Kicks off Texas BUC$ 2011

Everson Walls delivered a heart-felt message to the attendees of this year's conference. He talked about his life growing up in Dallas, attending college in Louisiana, and getting to play football for Dallas. Afterward he stuck around to sign copies of his book, 'A Gift from Ron'.

Welcome to BUC$ 2011

Registration is now open on the lower level in the room known as reflections. We welcome you to pick up your conference badge and welcome bag before dinner. Dinner will be at 6. The Rangers are taking the night off due to the rain but you can still join us for Game night after dinner.

Final Preparations

Final preparations are being made for your arrival. There's still time to register and join us. The OU Alumni fans should be leaving tomorrow morning to make room in the hotel by 2pm. Parking in the hotel garage is free during the conference for attendees. Paid valet parking is also available. When you get to the conference, come on downstairs from the lobby to the room "Reflections" to check into the conference and collect your program.

Texas BUC$ Fun Walk for the Cure

Hello All,

Can you believe Texas BUC$ is just a few days away? We are very excited and cannot wait to see you. For the third year, we will be having the 5K Texas BUC$ for the Cure walk/race, on Wednesday morning. We ask that you make a minimum donation of $15 to participate (required). If participating, you will receive a commemorative t-shirt when you check-in at the conference. A Tribute from Tulane

I just got back from a visit to Tulane University, and wanted to share the attached photo with you all at UTA. It is an enormous mural that hangs on the wall in their employee cafeteria. It is made up of all the school logo's of schools that took in Tulane students after hurricane Katrina, while Tulane was closed for a semester.

It made me smile to see my other clients on there. Notice UTA's logo in the sky, to the right of the tree.  read more »
