Thank You

BUC$ on the Beach 2009 was a great success in spite of a few curves thrown our way by Mother Nature! It was great to see everyone! I extend my heartfelt thanks to the board, attendees and exhibitors for your contribution and support.

Plans have already begun for Sand Dollars and BUC$ 2010! The board of directors encourages you to complete the 2009 Conference Evaluation so that we can customize next year’s conference to meet your wishes. This evaluation form will be available through the end of the week.  read more »

Texas BUC$ for the Cure walk

Wednesday morning, Oct. 14th was a beautiful morning in Corpus Christi, Texas. There were approximately eighty participants in our first, Texas BUC$ for the Cure walk. It was a very exciting moment for many of us and I feel especially so for myself as I am a breast cancer survivor. In the end we donated $1679.00 to Susan G. Komen to help in the fight against breast cancer. Texas BUC$ attendees are not only THE BEST, we are also generous with regard to charitable causes. Thanks from the bottom of my heart to each of you who donated money and/or participated in the walk!

Cyber Café

The Cyber Cafe will be open on Monday starting at 9 am in the Partnership Board Room on the 3rd floor. There will be two laptops available for you to check your email and submit the conference evaluation forms.

Change of Venue for Monday Night Bay Cruise

Unfortunately the weather outlook for Monday night is actually worse than what it has been the last couple of days. The plans for this evening have had to be changed. We will be in Corpus Christi Ballroom on the 3rd floor starting at 5:00 for dinner. Then we'll move to Neuces to see the live band at 7:00! We are not going to let the wet weather outside dampen our spirits inside. Even though we are not actually on the cruise, we're are still mixing business and fun! The dress code is ultra casual. Feel free to dress comfortably in appropriate shorts, Capris and sandals. No swimwear please.
