The regional meeting at UTSA this week was fantastic! Thank you to Deborah Riley and UTSA for wonderful food and warm hospitality! We had 26 attendees and 4 Platinum Exhibitors that attended. Thanks to our exhibitors - Russell Kuhns, Trinidad Gonzales, Ray Perez and Denyc Perez for the presentation on collections laws and updates! We also got some great tips for internal collection efforts from Deveron and several others in the group! There was some great sharing of ideas on topics including veterans issues, employee debt issues, waivers and budget saving strategies.  read more »

Greetings to all!! I hope your Spring semester and start to year 2011 has been a great one!! Our first regional conference is coming soon and registration is now open for the Dallas area regional to be held at UNT on February 28th and March 1st. The regional meetings really provide an excellent opportunity to network with your peers and explore new solutions and approaches to issues that we all encounter. What a deal at only $50 for registration!! Hope to see you there!!

This past year serving as Vice President of Texas BUC$ has been exciting and I have enjoyed working with everyone on the Board! I have also enjoyed the opportunity to meet and network with many of you at the past conferences and regional meetings hosted by Texas BUC$. I believe that Texas BUC$ is a wonderful organization packed with great people and lots of great ideas. The partnerships we form as a result of Texas BUC$ are invaluable!
