Keeping track of federal regulations and understanding how they apply to student business service can be a challenge in today’s busy world. In this session, Dennis Hoebee, TWU’s Manager of Security and Disaster Recovery, will review FERPA and Red Flag basics.

Dennis Hoebee is retired Air Force, with over 20 years training experience. While on active duty, Dennis served in an elite combat unit as a Forward Air Controller. He later retrained into the medical field, specializing in behavioral science. Prior to retiring, Dennis served in a special duty assignment as a certified academic instructor, coaching professional leadership and management to future Air Force leaders. For the past four years, Dennis has been working as staff member at Texas Woman’s University, serving in the role of Manager, Information Security and Disaster Recovery for Information Technology Services.
