Presenters: Benjamin Fromm, Senior Relationship Manager, Walter Hinckfoot, VP,Higher One
Benjamin Fromm joined Higher One, Inc. Client Operations in May 2006. At Higher One Ben has been recognized as a leader in Stellar Service, one of the company’s core values, and currently works with universities and colleges in Texas, Wisconsin, Illinois and Alabama. He is a senior representative in the department and has helped foster training and process improvement among his peers. Ben joined Higher One having relocated from Minneapolis, MN where he spent two years in account management with a fast growing telecommunications company. In Minneapolis, Ben developed his skill working to resolve difficult situations through open communication and prompt follow through; and became known for his ability to resolve challenges and build strong lasting relationships. Ben recently bought his first house in New Haven, CT and spends time tuned into HGTV and DIY network; in his opinion the “two best channels on cable.” Other past times include fitness and nutrition training for endurance racing. An event he recently completed was the Ragnar Relay a 24 hr. plus 12 person relay race covering 192 miles between New Haven and Boston.

Walter Hinckfoot, VP
Walter graduated with a BAA from Central Michigan University 1983 and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University 1990. He was the 10th employee hired by Higher One and has been with the company for almost 10 years. Walter signed Higher One’s very first client, University of Houston before the company even had a live website. He has been married for 20 years and has two high school children. He and his wife volunteer with their church’s high school youth program and annually participate in various mission trips. Lastly, Walter is a big Jimmy Buffett fan – go Parrotheads!!
