This Coordinating Board Update session will concentrate on exemptions and waivers (recent and possible future changes); notices to students about their contributions to set-asides, and tools for helping students enroll.

Presenter: Jane Caldwell, Director of Grants and Special Programs, THECB
Jane was born and raised at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. She has 37+ years’ experience in the administration of financial aid programs, issues related to residency, tuition and fee exemptions, and waivers. She is responsible for the annual administration of more than $350 million in grant, scholarship, work-study, and exemption programs. Jane has her Undergraduate degree in Russian; Masters in Business Administration – both from the University of Texas at Austin. She is married to Guy, an Electrical Engineer, and the proud parent of a 2 year old, 110-pound Greater Swiss Mountain Dog “puppy” by the name of Logan. Pictures of puppy are available upon request.
