During the 2011 annual conference, Andy Startz of Texas A&M University-Health Science Center was the sole nominee for the office of Vice President and accepted the position unopposed. Kathy Woods of Texas Women's University was the sole nominee for the position of Treasurer and also accepted that position.

Debbie Leonard of Dallas Baptist University was the winner of the Exhibitor Scramble and wins a free registration for the Texas BUC$ annual conference to be held in Dallas October 7 - 10, 2012.

Perry Griner of Midwestern State University was the winner of the drawing for the Kindle.
