The Texas BUC$ Spring 2009 Regional Conference at Texas Women’s University in Denton TX was well attended by both local institutions and sponsors. TWU hosted a very successful meeting with excellent facilities on a beautiful campus. Everyone enjoyed a tour of the “First Lady Gowns”.

Attendees were treated to meals, gifts, networking opportunities and most of all – discussion of topics in which we all have an interest. Some items for discussion were retention rules, collection costs, housing delinquencies, R2T4, customer service, red flag policies, warrant holds and sponsored students.

Russell Kuhns of Regent Asset Management Solutions N.A. gave a presentation on Stress Management that was both entertaining and useful to the group. He recommended changing how you react to stressful situations. The technique is to Plan, Learn, Accept and Negotiate.
